Technical support includes the nature of help in using the Portal, training for those that will use and support the Portal, and the kind of team that will provide technical support for the Portal.

Each of these areas is explored in this section. Planning for and delivering on these areas of technical support is another key to the success of your implementation.

The complexity of your Portal solution will contribute to determining the kind of technical support you need.

Your district may already have a technical team capable of operating the technology solution you have selected, but if not you will need to consider this. You should think about technical support before you choose your Portal solution to determine if you have the capacity to support it. And you need to think about it after you choose the solution so that you have the right support in place.
