District Staff may function both as end users and as specialized support. So their training can be considered in two parts:

As end users:

As specialized support:

    1. Understanding the Portal function for which they are responsible
    2. Specific training in assigned support area (some or all)

For example, there may be someone in the Finance department who is assigned support responsibility for the fee payment module. That person will need extra training in how fee payment works so they can answer questions for others. Remember it is always best to have more than one person trained so that you have backup when the assigned person is sick or on vacation.

Training for staff can be delivered in a classroom, online, or more informally during lunch and learn sessions. These sessions can be delivered by in-house trainers or by staff peers.
