Technical Team
The technical team will be responsible for keeping the Portal running, testing and adding new features, and performing routine maintenance. Depending on the size of your installation and the type of installation, this could be one person (although better to have at least two people) or a team of specialized of IT staff.
There must be someone who is responsible, even if your Portal is hosted and run by an outside service. You will still be using district computers to access the Portal, create content, and load data from other sources. You need someone to act as the liaison to the technical team, who has some understanding of the technologies involved.
If the Portal runs on your district computers, you need staff who have technical knowledge about servers, databases, software, networks, identity management and security.

Don’t underestimate the need to have a team, however small, responsible for looking after your Portal. You will soon come to depend on it being available, so you want to be sure help is there when you need it.
